Please help me!!!! I am getting married in three weeks and am wearing a strapless dress. Foolishly, last week I went for a walk wearing a singlet and was sunburnt. I now have strap marks. I went to a solarium to try to even out the marks but, after four visits, there is not much improvement. I am normally not a fan of solariums but right now am willing to try anything. I do not want to go and bake myself in the sun either as I will end up bright red with peeling skin - not a good look! How can I get rid of these marks in the safest and fastest way? |

You need to have a course of fake tan treatments at a salon - I'd recommend the St Tropez tan. The therapist should be able to initially just darken the pale patches (as well as exfoliating the dark areas a little paler), then over the next few weeks, even the skin tone out. Make sure, however, that you go to a good salon. Call the St Tropez distributors on (02) 9486 3211 and ask them to recommend a salon close to you.
One other thing you could try, if you live in Sydney, is the spray-on tan at Ciao Bella in Darlinghurst (9361 0612), which is amazing. |
